Exclusion of liability
With its decision of September 12, 1999 – 312 O 85/99 – “Liability for Links” – the Regional Court of Hamburg ruled that the addition of a link makes one jointly responsible for the content of the linked site should the occasion arise. According to the Regional Court, this can only be prevented if one expressly distances oneself from such contents. We therefore expressly distance ourselves from the complete contents of all pages we have linked. We expressly state that we have no influence whatsoever on the design or contents of websites outside our domain and are accordingly not responsible for them.
