Invited to the “Day of Thuringian Cultural Promotion Associations,” November 22

This year, we once again received an invitation to the Cultural Promotion Associations Day in Weimar. The event began at 11:00 a.m. with a workshop on donations and sponsorship, followed by joint discussion rounds with an exchange of experiences and a guided tour of the historic rooms of the

MDR broadcasting hall. The official event began at 5 p.m. with the jury for the “Cultural Promotion Association of the Year 2025” award and patron Stefan Gruhner, Head of the Thuringian State Chancellery and Minister for Federal and European Affairs, Sport, and Volunteering. The panel discussion with Stefan Gruhner, Gerlinde Sommer, Dr. Niels Lange, and Dirk Schütz focused on volunteer work, particularly in Thuringia, and Germany's pioneering role in volunteerism, its state recognition, and support.

At the reception that followed, there was still time for many conversations, networking, and greeting our partner associations.
