As part of our association work and worldwide research, we discovered and the grave and retraced the personal history of the Italian Mario Suardi.
Through the responsible authorities and our close Italian contacts and friends, we were able to locate the Suardi family, who have been searching for Mario’s grave for 70 years. They thanked us very much for our commitment and will come to Kahla in 2020. Together with our association they will visit all places and the grave of Mario.
Mario Suardi was born in Predore in 1926, was a forced laborer in the Rosengarten camp and had a fatal accident on 23 December 1944 at 6.30 p.m. on the Reichsstrasse 88 near Großeutersdorf, where a truck hit him.
Today, 23.12., together with our seminar girls, we commemorated the anniversary of Mario’s death.
Without a doubt, this was a worthy conclusion to this year’s intensive association work for all of us.
