Since some time, we have been supervising and accompanying a student research project by Lena R., Emilia R. and Natalia T. from Jena.
During a first contact, they introduced us to their theme regarding the history of “REIMAHG”, which also includes the present. In order to capture and process the story of the factory, the people and remembrance in the right context, we took them around the Walpersberg and to some of the former forced labor camps. The excursion through a piece of contemporary history has impressed them so much, that they want to make a second tour.
As part of their seminar work, they will also accompany the preparations for the commemoration ceremonies in May 2020.
