With good weather, today’s goose market in Großeutersdorf attracted thousands of visitors, as it does every year.
While there were endless stalls, we were the only ones present with our association stand and hence were a meeting place for many visitors interested in history, to whom we gladly gave answers to their questions regarding the “REIMAHG”, but above all to give informative explanations about all the falsely disseminated historical facts. We greeted also old friends and welcomed acquaintances and had extensive conversations, while we enjoyed delicious spiral potatoes on the skewer or traditional Thuringian dumplings with goose roasts and red cabbage. Of the 1500 ‘Bratwurst’ sold, the roast sausages we were also involved with 5 pieces.
It was a day that showed us again how important our work, contact with people and our presence in the public eye is.
